Edward Woodhall: Who was Germaine Choteau?

In Edward's wallet there were numerous photographs, many unnamed but some with words of affection such as this one.  More will appear in later blog entries but I start with this one as I cannot find anything out about this lady.  She was, by the date of August 1913 [why the photograph appears this way I cannot tell as it is the right way around in my files!] from his time in Canada but the photography studio that produced the postcard is in Bourneville, Birmingham.  Searches on Ancestry and other genealogical sites have not helped, so who is or was Germaine Choteau?
